GIG CANCELLATION
Tomorrows gig at the Tap & Tumbler has been cancelled. As most of you know, Megg is ill but after yesterdays gig at the Nags Head, Luke has lost his voice too, after taking on lead vocals with Lewis. So, with Megg, and now Luke, unable to sing, we have, unfortunately, had to cancel the show.

(The Mag may take a while to load so be patient! The review can be found on page 12!)
We have been given a very good review and it is very favourable so I'd like to congratulate the band for doing so bloody well that day!
So to: Megg "with her fantastic voice, making even cover songs sound original", Lewis "one of the liveliest performers" & indeed Dastill and Ashley Clever (who didn't get a mention in the review). Well done to you all! I'm proud of ya!
Enjoy the review my friends!

ASHES TO ASHES
Firstly, thank you to Ashley Cleaver, who played his final gig with Sapphire Lane at Arnold Carnival in front of an estimated 2000 people. He went out with a bang and has parted on good terms with the band. We wish him all the best for the future!
Secondly, please welcome Sapphire Lane's new drummer, Ash Wilson, who could make his debut at the Colonel Burnaby on Friday.
A few more images from Arnold can be seen in the gallery section and, when updated later, the diary entry for the event.

LATEST NEWS
Just a few updates about what is going on with the band. As most of you probably know from Lewis' updates on Facebook, Sapphire Lane have recruited a new drummer and he shall be unveiled in the near future, probably making his debut gig at the Colonel Burnaby. We will also be working on some brand new material very shortly, with all members contributing to a few new, exciting numbers.
Also, we would like to extend out gratitude to the excellent people at the Running Horse for their continued support with supplying their venue free of charge to rehearse in, we hope this partnership will be a long and fruitful one for all concerned.
Finally, after last Thursdays brilliant gig at the Diamond, Megg has taken it upon herself to write the diary entry for that particular night. Roll on over to the diary section to read it!
